He's cleaning my windows in the rain?!?!

Updated: Nov 29, 2020

Yes that's right, at some point you will probably catch me cleaning your windows in the rain! Sadly, working in the rain is kind of a requirement for a window cleaner living in Britain :( On the positive side, it's really nothing to worry about.

Did you know that it isn't actually the rain that makes your windows dirty? In fact I know of window cleaners who use rainwater to clean their customer's windows. Rainwater is actually pretty much free of impurities so when it dries on a clean window it leaves very few marks if any at all. However, when it rains on a dirty window then you will see streaks and marks but that is only because the clean rainwater has moved around the dirt that was already on the window. The point is that I remove all of the dirt from your windows so even if it rains while I clean you won't be left with any streaks or marks. For extra peace of mind, remember that all of my work is guaranteed so if for any reason you aren't happy with the job I have done then I guarantee to return and fix the issue before you pay.

So next time you catch me cleaning in the rain there really is no need to worry about being left with streaks and marks on your windows. Just spare a thought for the poor guy who has to spend half of his working life being soaking wet....;)
